Before you fall in love with one of our dogs, have you read our ADOPTION PROCESS page?
All adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm/lyme tested, and have had routine blood work done. Additionally, all dogs are started on heartworm prevention, flea & tick prevention, and go home with any remaining medications!
This ultimate sweet thang traveled all the way here from Alabama. She was stuck living in a boarding/dog day care facility for TWO YEARS!
Violet is by far one of the sweetest souls we have ever met. She's truly that dog that you meet and can't walk away from because she's so special. She's calm but still likes to party with her toys. She's Wonderfully house broken, crate trained, and the best snuggler on the block.
When Violet first came to Biggies she had a terribly bad skin infection and was missing a lot of her hair, as well as being constantly itchy and red.
We visited the wonderful staff at Cranberry Vet Hospital where she was prescribed some meds and weekly medicated baths. Were about a month out of this routine and she's clearing up every single day!
Violet may always have sensitive skin but we believe it's going to be very manageable. She does great on Fromm Whitefish, but can show sensitivities to other foods. We believe the main cause of her actual skin infection was a flea take over that her body had an allergic reaction too and was never properly medicated. Now that we've gotten her on the right course, she's truly flourishing.
Age: 6 years old
Kids: I love attention from anyone, I wouldn't mind living with a kid thats nice to dogs!
Dogs: I like other dogs! The boarding place said I used to guard my toys towards other dogs, but I haven't shown any signs of that since my time at Biggies.
Cats: has not been tested, can be upon proved application.
Ruffles is a very sweet girl with a very easy going demeanor. She's house broken, crate trained, and doing very well learning basic cues.
Ruffles spends most of her day relaxing and sleeping, but she also loves a good walk or a car ride. She gets along extremely well with the cat in her foster home, and she truly loves all people.
She has had mixed interactions with dogs in the past, and might benefit from being the only dog in the home or at least have some time, patience and training before being introduced to any potential canine friends. We have seen her successfully play with the correct match up of dogs. She enjoys playing with another Biggies dog Rupert, and enjoys being the boss!
Age: 5 years old
Kids: I don't mind kids as long as they're polite with dogs, I'd prefer 12 and up!
Dogs: I could potentially live with another dog in the future, but for now Id like to the be only queen.
Cats: I currently live with a cat, and don't mind him at all. I would need to be properly introduced to a cat, and the cat should be dog savvy!
Asher is a complete goofball with expressive ears and a wonderful smile! He hitched a ride to Biggies when he started to have a hard time with kennel life and we are so happy that he is here. Asher is housebroken, crate trained and super smart – he’s rocking basic cues and loves to learn.
When this cuddle bug isn’t snuggling with his foster family, you can find Asher playing with his toys – ropes and bones are favorites – or asking for a good romp in the yard to play fetch. Asher is loving his foster family’s work from home life, and settles nicely while they are on calls.
Asher is a big puppy and sometimes doesn’t know his own size! He lives by the motto – if I fits, I sits – and his definition of fitting is sometimes questionable. He has done very well in play groups and may enjoy the company of another doggie friend.
Age: 1.5 years
Kids: I need kids who are sturdy on their feet and can hold up to my play style – 10 and up please!
Dogs: I may enjoy the company of another dog who can play & wrestle!
Cats: I have not met any, but I can be tested!
We met Rupert at a local shelter after hearing that he was shutting down in the kennel. We spent time playing with him, but when it was time to go back to his kennel, he pumped his brakes and refused to move. The shelter staff had to carry him back to his kennel. His sad eyes broke our hearts, so we busted him out! During his first few weeks in a foster home, Rupert was incredibly stressed out and needed extra time to decompress before we could make him available for adoption. His amazing foster dad and foster dog siblings helped him relax over a few weeks. He's now finally showing us that he is ready for his own forever home!
Rupert is a very very smart dog! With this intelligence, he needs a dedicated family who will continue working on basic manners, but also an active home to tire this energetic boy out! He does best living with other dogs who will play and comfort him. Rupert loves to hike, play fetch, and can jump & catch a frisbee like nothing we have ever seen!! Due to his exceptional ability to jump straight up in the air, Rupert needs a home with a tall fenced in yard - we've seen him clear a 4 foot gate! We think he would love dog sports, so if you're into dock diving or other sports, he could be your next champion!
Rupert has come so far during his time with Biggies, and we know he will succeed with the right family!
Age: 2 years old
Kids: I'm a super bouncy dude, and while I don't mind meeting kids, I'm way too energetic to live with any youngsters right now.
Dogs: I LOVE other dogs and would love to live with them. They make me feel safe and secure when it's time to be home alone.
Cats: I'll pass, I can't resist chasing small animals.
DEREK - Adoption Pending
Hi My name is Derek Morgan, but you can call me Derek! I was found as a stray in Cleveland and taken to animal control where no one claimed me. Luckily my buds at Biggies came and got me!
I'm a typical little bully puppy that's working hard on learning the ropes of being a good boy! I'm crate trained, and doing excellent at house breaking. I play rough but I'm learning about taking corrections from other doggos. I'd like to go to a family that will keep working on my training with me and help me be the best boy I can be!
Age: 7 months
Kids: I'm a dummy of a puppy, and I'm learning some manners, esp how to not jump, I like kids, but I just might knock them over!
Dogs: I like playing with other dogs! My current foster siblings are teaching me the ropes and how to not be such a little jerk when playing, I'm getting the hang of it! Let's have a meet and greet!
Cats: I have not yet been cat tested, but can be if needed!
